Making my 1980s headband -

For the 80s headband , I wanted something bright and funky to reflect the crazy colours and patterns of the decade. 

I chose to knit it to further demonstrate a new skill and to also recreate the sweatbands / headbands at the time. 

Here is the chosen wool on the loom, I went for a bright yellow, as you can see it it being threaded through to recreate the motion of knitting. 

Here it is off the loom, hasn’t quite taken the shape of a headband yet so will need to be stretched out.

The headband has been stretched out and fitted to my head, and is completed for the look.
