Planning my 1940s look;

  For my 1940s outfit, I am going to take inspiration from WW2 clippings from magazines where women were shown in just above the ankle dresses- a shorter length than shown before- and feminine accessories such as frilly socks and dainty gloves. The piece I am making for this look is a fascinator, that was popular for women to wear in this era and I will make this using Tulle, Netting and Wire.

Bright, floral pattern which is common for the 40s, mid length, blouse like sleeves with buttons down the front of the dress and a wide neck. 

Black leather shoes with buckles and flat soles.
